How many places have you lived in your life?

somehow, life has worked itself out so that I have only lived in "m" states thus far (not counting college).  i was born in missouri, moved to mass when i was around 4.  we lived in ma until the beginning of 5th grade when we moved to mississippi.  i lived there until i went to college in alabama (war eagle!).  i took a small detour to georgia for a semester and then ended up back in mississippi for grad school.  guess where i am now...

pretty exciting stuff.  growing up, even in high school and college, i thought that i would live all over.  i thought that since i enjoy traveling so much (i have been to 43 states) that i would indeed find myself roaming about the country enjoying all of the exciting cultures found in this big pot.  i never imagined that i would end up coming back to the 'burg for grad school.  it was only on a spring break trip to the bahamas sitting with my feet in the pool did i find peace about coming back.  i knew that it was the right thing to do and i have no regrets.  i am VERY glad that i did come back to the 'burg, i have gotten to do things and meet people that i never would have gotten to do if i had not come back.  minus work and the stress that it brings (which is too much), i am probably the most happy that i have been since college (if happiness counts for anything :p).
